TV Link and Author Interview with David B. Coe

First off, here's the link to the TV spot Patricia Bray and I did last night on the local news station for the signing we and fellow authors S.C. Butler and Barbara Campbell are doing on Saturday, January 17th, 2-4pm at Waldenbooks at the Oakdale Mall in Johnson City, NY. I do have a voice, however it is not my own voice. It is a froggified version of my voice, as if I were wearing a Darth Vader Helmet . . . except it was made for a frog. *sheeee-hoooo-ribbit sheeee-hooooo-ribbit* Hey, pbray, did you notice they misspelled your name on the screen shot about the event? You are now officially "Patricia Bay". And for some reason they didn't do an up-close shot of Barbara's books. You do not have the advertising-fu-gods on your side, Barbara. David B. Coe (www.davidbcoe.com) is the Crawford Award-winning author of ten fantasy novels and several short stories. A refugee from academia, David has a Ph.D. in history and has taught at the university level. In a life prior to that prior life, he was a political consultant. The Horsemen's Gambit is the second book in his Blood of the Southlands trilogy. It is to be published on January 20, 2009, which is good because there's nothing else of importance happening that day to draw attention away from the book's release. . . .

APB: Voice

So today my voice is WORSE than yesterday, even though I spent the entire day NOT talking and consuming cough drops. BAH! Tomorrow's signing should be interesting. Speaking of:

MULTI-AUTHOR SIGNING! If you're in the Binghamton are tomorrow (Saturday, January 17th) between 2-4pm, then stop on by the Waldenbooks at the Oakdale Mall, where four fantasy authors--count them, FOUR--will be signing copies of their books. The authors will be me, Partricia Bray (pbray), Barbara Campbell, and S.C. Butler (scbutler). These books range from young adult all the way up through adult, including action/adventure. They even include some nontraditional settings, such as Barbara Campbell's "prehistorical" setting in the Trickster's Game, where the gods are real and interfere with everyday life, and Patricia Bray's "Mediterranean" seascape in the Josan Chronicles. So stop on by and revel and chat with these up-and-coming and already-arrived authors.
